How DeskOS learns your voice.
An article written by DeskOS for The New York Times doesn't read like one for The Guardian. Every newsroom has its profile, and every journalist can fine-tune their own.
Your corpus, your DNA
At onboarding, you import about twenty published articles. DeskOS extracts the fingerprint of your writing: formality, sentence length, vocabulary, tone, narrative structure. The profile then evolves naturally, with every article your journalists approve. The more you use it, the tighter the fit.
One profile per journalist
Each journalist in the newsroom can import their own corpus to fine-tune the collective profile with their personal voice. A weighting slider lets you blend newsroom style and individual style. The first draft is already in the voice of the person who'll put their byline on it.
Verifiable quality
Every article comes with a real-time originality score. DeskOS systematically compares the generated text against the source wire and previously published articles from your newsroom. The desk editor can see editing rates, scores by journalist, and full traceability of the editorial pipeline.
Constant improvement
The algorithm learns from every published article. By comparing the generated version with the final version signed by the journalist, DeskOS identifies recurring adjustments — rephrasing, cuts, additions — and automatically refines the style profile. The more your newsroom produces, the closer the first draft is to the final result.
